The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program develops leadership in international professionals who work together to address local and global concerns and encourage change for the greater good. This growing global network shares best practices and builds expertise in fields of critical importance to advance societal and institutional capacity, promote human rights and freedoms, ensure sustainable environments, and develop thriving communities through academic study and professional development with US counterparts. The fellowships are full grants covering all related expenses.

The NextGen Scholarship Fund was created for international students and non-citizens who come to the United States with hopes of obtaining higher education to create a better life for themselves and their families.

- Civil Society Leadership Award
The Civil Society Leadership Awards (CSLA) provides fully funded master’s level scholarships at a network of universities across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America, including American University Washington College of Law.
The program aims to support individuals who demonstrate both academic and professional excellence and have potential to become civil society leaders in their home communities.
The award will cover all tuition and fees, monthly stipend for room and board, program related travel, health insurance, all costs for an annual student conference, and a pre-university writing program. The scholarship does NOT provide funding for dependent family members. Applications are due September 15th for Fall admission.
- Rotary Peace Fellowships
The Rotary Peace Fellowship is designed for leaders with work experience in peace and development. Our fellows are committed to community and international service and the pursuit of peace. Each year, The Rotary Foundation awards up to 50 fellowships for master’s degrees and 80 for certificate studies at premier universities.
