Young Nigerian graduates with little or no experience are encouraged to apply for the UNDP/Nigerian Government Jubilee Fellows Programme 2022. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
The Jubilee Fellows Programme for Nigerians is a Federal Government of Nigeria youth empowerment partnership project backed by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to alleviate the development impact of rising national unemployment and underemployment rates.
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme aims to deploy 20,000 highly trained Nigerian youngsters across the country in commercial and public sector organizations of diverse types, sizes, and industries. The program is a 12-month, fully funded program aiming to improve employability by developing leadership abilities and transferring on-the-job talents.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the UNDP/Nigerian Government Jubilee Fellowship Programme:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen.
- Be a fresh graduate (Bachelor’s Degree or HND Certificate) from any discipline and graduated not earlier than 2017.
- Graduate with at least a Second Class Lower (2.2) for Bachelor’s Degree or Upper Credit (>Â 3.00) for HND Certificate holders.
- Be at most 30 years old.
- Not currently engaged in any employment.
- Have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) OR have a certificate of exemption from the NYSC.
- Demonstrate interest/commitment in chosen career field.
- Demonstrate interest/commitment to contributing to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
- Have excellent time management and a professional attitude.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
