University of Edinburgh is pleased to announce the availability of Glenmore Medical Postgraduate Scholarship for International Students for the 2022/23 academic year

Three scholarships are available for eligible postgraduate Masters programmes offered by the University in the 2022-2023 academic session.

Eligibility | The Glenmore Medical Postgraduate Scholarship at the University of Edinburgh

The scholarships will be awarded to applicants who are accepted for admission in the 2022-2023 academic year on one of the listed eligible Human Medical programmes. The Glenmore Postgraduate Scholarship would particularly welcome applications from students from Africa.

Selection Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the strength of a personal statement.  Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honours degree.

Candidates must also include a personal statement which addresses the following questions (3500 characters maximum):

  • What specific elements of this programme attracted you to the University of Edinburgh?
  • How will successful completion of this programme at the University of Edinburgh benefit your own career and personal development?
  • How will successful completion of this programme at the University of Edinburgh enable you to contribute to your community/region or country?

Please note that unless you have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh, you will not be able to access the online application system. Applicants that meet the criteria should fill out an online application form. The deadline for scholarship applications is June 2, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. BST.
