The Foundation Office Zimbabwe (KAS) is thrilled to announce the Call for Scholarship Applications 2022 to invite bright young scholars to join its alumni program and network for the academic year 2022–2023.

Students enrolling in bachelor’s degree programs in law, journalism, public management, political science, international relations, conflict studies, peacebuilding, ethics, and history at Zimbabwean universities are the program’s targeted audience. To be eligible for this full coverage award, applicants must be high-achieving and performing students.

Benefits

The winning candidates selected by the Foundation Office Zimbabwe will be provided full tuition and examination fees for the standard duration of study from their admittance into the program onwards, accommodation costs on-campus or a contribution to off-campus accommodation and a semester stipend for internet, books and transportation costs.

Eligibility | Fully funded Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung International Scholarships

The applicants must fulfill each of the requirements listed below in order to be eligible:

  • Must be at least in their second year of bachelor studies,
  • Must prove above average academic performance,
  • Must be actively engaged in voluntary work,
  • Must possess a broad general education and distinct interest in political issues,
  • Must have a positive attitude towards democracy and human rights,
  • Must be open to develop their personal points of view and practice tolerance,
  • Must be highly motivated and able to convince us of their goals in life

  • Filled-out application 
  • A cover letter (max. 1 page)
  • A meaningful CV in tabular form including details about your previous voluntary work or social commitment (max. 2 pages)
  • Copy of your latest transcript
  • An informal academic or employment/volunteer letter of recommendation (this can be a copy of an Email from an official university/organizational Email-account). This letter should provide information about your qualifications and potential.

How to Apply

 Students must first apply for admission in the Zimbabwean University of their choice. To apply for the scholarship programme students must submit all necessary supporting documents via mail to zimbabwe@kas.de.
