Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified applicants for the Portugal Government Scholarships for International Students for studies at all levels in Portugal for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The purpose of grants is to provide support to students with limited financial resources so that they can pay the costs of higher education.
Grants are awarded for the entire academic year and are paid monthly, usually in 10 installments.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an international students.
- Undergraduate Programs: Completion of secondary education.
- Master’s Programs: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Doctoral Programs: Possession of a Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Portuguese or English, depending on the language of instruction of the chosen program.
- Demonstrated academic merit and potential for success in the chosen field of study.
- Do not hold a diploma or degree equal to or at a higher level than that for which you are applying for a grant
