Eligibility Criteria | KNUST O.R. Tambo Research Scholarships
To be qualified for KNUST O.R. Tambo Research Scholarships, candidates must meet the criteria given below:
- Bachelor’s degree with first-class or second class (upper division) honours in Business Administration, Economics, and Social Sciences.
- For applicants whose bachelor’s degree was not provided in English, an internationally recognised Certificate of Proficiency in the English Language (i.e., TOEFL or IELTS) with an above-average score shall be required.
- Demonstrate economic need for which reason they should be supported financially to enrol on the Master’s degree programme at KNUST.
- Hold citizenship of Ghana or another African country. Non-Ghanaian African applicants must demonstrate possession of a student visa to legally study at KNUST.
- Complete and submit the Scholarship Application form.
- Complete and submit the economic needs assessment form.
- Commit to full-time availability for the entire period of study.

Category of Scholarship Awards Available
The Scholarshipsto be awarded by the Chair are categorised into full, partial and fee waiver scholarship awards. The category of scholarship awards to be given to an applicant will be dependent upon the economic needs of an applicant as determined by the scholarship award committee.

- How your admission into this programme will fit into your professional vision
