Applications from interested and qualified candidates are presently being accepted for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship. This is to encourage talented international applicants who are enrolling as new students in undergraduate or postgraduate programs at the University of Waikato, enhance educational opportunities, and foster internationalization.
About the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship
The Scholarships, which are tuition fee credits with a maximum value of NZD$15,000 for undergraduate and NZD$15,000 for postgraduate students, are given to candidates who have shown excellence in the classroom.
The Scholarships Committee decides how many scholarships to award and how much each grant is worth depending on a number of factors, including funding availability, chosen course of study, intended course length, amount of credits taken, and GPA equivalence.
Financial necessity, the total amount of financing available, the number of applications, and the degree program of choice are a few more factors that could be taken into consideration. At the time of enrollment or after enrollment is complete, the scholarship will be directly added to the recipient’s tuition costs for the chosen program of study.
