Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Global Futures Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applications will be considered from international fee-paying students.
- To be considered as domiciled in the eligible countries, applicants must have predominantly resided there during the last three years.
- Applicants must be applying for direct first-year entry in 2025 and have, or be working towards any of the approved educational qualification.
- Applicants must be self-funded (not sponsored).
- Applicants for Medicine (MBChB), Dentistry (BDS), Architecture, or any courses with an integrated foundation year are not eligible for the award.
- Applicants must have selected The University of Manchester as their FIRM UCAS choice by 23 May 2025.
- Applicants who have previously studied in the UK are not eligible for the award.
- The award applies only to full-time courses of study delivered at The University of Manchester’s UK campus in Manchester.

How to Apply for Global Futures Scholarships 2025 for International Students
Interested applicants for the Global Futures Scholarships 2025 are to complete an online application which will be considered according to the qualification they are taking.
To apply, you must hold an offer of a study place at The University of Manchester for a course that will start in September 2025. You will then be required to submit an online application form that will be emailed to all relevant offer holders. Applicants are encouraged to send in their application by the application deadline and provide all the required supporting documents.
