The Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships 2025/2026 are now accepting applications from students from Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America who want to pursue Bachelor or Master’s degrees in Germany.
Each year, up to 40 students get FES funding. International students receive a monthly allowance of up to 934 EUR, and health insurance costs are covered. Students with children receive a monthly payment of 160 EUR. Students from any field are able to apply if they have excellent school or academic distinction and want to study in Germany.

Scholarship Value and Benefits
- International students receive a monthly base amount of EUR 934.
- In addition, costs for health insurance are funded, and scholars with a child receive an allowance of 160 EUR per month. The scholarship does not have to be repaid.
